(see also our Conservation and Earthcare Specialising in Nursery Production course)

Conservation and Earthcare Pest Control focuses on restoring the endemic biodiversity on land (Whenua Restoration) through pest control operations. The aim of the course is to empower young people to take action and contribute to future sustainability.

Throughout the course students work collaboratively to plan, implement and evaluate a range of pest control projects. Students will also have the chance to participate in ‘Project Pollinate’, where they will learn introductory apiculture/beekeeping skills.

This course has large practical components and contains some theory elements.
