West Coast Trades Academy

Café Skills Level 2

The hospitality industry is one where no two days are the same. The domestic tourism industry along with the continuous growth of café culture and the popularity of eating out in our towns and cities, means there are real job opportunities within our New Zealand cafés, restaurant and bars.

New for 2022! This course offers you the chance to gain a variety of hands on skills in food preparation, beverage making, barista skills, front of house, customer service and baking. You will learn in a handson environment, by working in the polytechnic commercial kitchen and service delivery will be real, not theory, in the Tai Poutini Restaurant.
